About the Role

This is a remote position, with routine travel requirements. The FSR is responsible for actively supporting
a missile system both in CONUS and in the operational environments. FSRs shall travel to a specified
location to perform operational readiness support and other technical services on the ship sets. At least 3
years of FSR engineering experience required

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• US Citizen

• 3+ years of experience supporting US Government programs in an FSR role

• Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to effectively interoperate with lower-level program personnel and upper-level executive management

• Availability for business travel in support to program execution responsibilities; estimated not to exceed 50%

• Existing TS security clearance. SCI eligible

• Systems administration experience in a Linux environment. Experience with troubleshooting tools such as Nmap, Wireshark, and various debugging tools

• Possess and maintain a DoD 8570.1 certification

• Experience with software troubleshooting

• Experience repairing and creating technical documentation


Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in a STEM

• Existing TS/SCI clearance

• Experience working with small, remote teams with a “no fail” mission

• Experience working in a DevSecOPs environment

Responsibilities

  • Must possess a detailed understanding of systems and associated equipment to include fault isolation, diagnostics and repair of the electrical/hydraulic/mechanical systems
  • Routine CONUS deployments to munition warehouse locations for maintenance and updates • Deployments to operational environments as necessary. Deployments are anticipated to be infrequent but last no longer than 6 months). Overall travel is 25-50%
  • Ability to configure and troubleshoot physical hardware and software systems
  • Ability to proactively identify and resolve operational, manufacturing/development and process inefficiencies
  • Ability to train users on equipment and methods of employment
  • Must be able to establish and maintain a good working relationship with the customer
