About the Role
We are seeking a talented and driven Junior to Mid‑Level Mechanical Engineer to support the design and development of cutting‑edge mechanical systems. In this role, you will work in a highly collaborative engineering environment focused on rapid development, hands‑on design, and high‑quality deliverables. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical fundamentals, hands‑on experience with Creo, and the ability to communicate effectively across multiple engineering disciplines. This position offers the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to real‑world hardware from concept through release, with exposure to both development and production environments.
Qualifications:
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
Entry‑level to mid‑level experience in mechanical design or product development.
Hands‑on experience using Creo for part design and drawing creation.
Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of core engineering principles.
Ability to effectively communicate technical information across engineering disciplines.
Detail‑oriented mindset with a focus on quality and accuracy.
Preferred:
Hands‑on machining experience and understanding of common manufacturing processes.
Experience applying Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles.
Familiarity with transitioning designs from development to production.
Experience working in fast‑paced, iterative development environments.
Responsibilities
Use Creo to design and develop mechanical components and assemblies, including sheet metal parts and detailed drawings.
Create and maintain engineering drawings and support them through the Configuration Control Board (CCB) approval process.
Collaborate with cross‑functional engineering teams to ensure designs meet system requirements and program objectives.
Support a rapid development environment, delivering high‑quality designs on aggressive schedules.
Produce and maintain accurate drafting and technical documentation to support manufacturing and assembly.
Participate in design reviews and incorporate feedback to improve performance, manufacturability, and quality.
