
About the Role
Primary Aimline is seeking a DD250 Product Lead to support one of our Department of Defense customer programs. This individual will lead execution of a Counter-Unmanned Aircraft System (CUAS) product through qualification testing, production readiness, and DD250 acceptance.
The DD250 Product Lead serves as the primary cross-functional execution lead responsible for coordinating Integrated Product Team (IPT) activities, driving product readiness, and ensuring successful delivery to the customer. This role requires close collaboration with engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, test, contracts, finance, operations, suppliers, and government stakeholders to execute program objectives while managing schedule, technical risks, and product readiness.
Qualifications:
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Program Management, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
Experience presenting program status to senior leadership and government customers.
5+ years of experience supporting DoD, aerospace, or defense programs.
Experience leading cross-functional Integrated Product Teams (IPTs).
Experience supporting qualification testing, production readiness, manufacturing transition, or hardware delivery.
Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Teams.
Active Secret Security Clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain one.
Preferred:
Experience supporting DD250 acceptance and government product deliveries.
Familiarity with DD250 government acceptance activities and applicable military qualification standards, including environmental qualification (MIL-STD-810), EMI/EMC testing (MIL-STD-461), ESD controls, energetic qualification, reliability and maintainability, production qualification testing (PQT), first article inspection (FAI), environmental stress screening (ESS), and other government qualification, verification, and product acceptance requirements.
Experience supporting Counter-UAS (CUAS), missile, radar, sensor, or other complex defense systems.
Knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM) principles.
Familiarity with defense acquisition and manufacturing processes.
Experience with SAP, Microsoft Project, PRISM, or similar enterprise planning tools.
PMP or DAWIA certification.
Travel:
Up to 50% travel to Tucson, Arizona, in support of customer execution, Integrated Product Team activities, qualification testing, and production readiness.
Up to 25% additional travel to customer sites, supplier facilities, manufacturing locations, and government acceptance events to support DD250 execution and product delivery.
Responsibilities
Lead execution of a CUAS product through qualification testing, production readiness, and DD250 acceptance.
Serve as the primary cross-functional lead coordinating Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Test, Contracts, Finance, and Operations.
Drive Integrated Product Team (IPT) execution to achieve technical, schedule, quality, and delivery objectives.
Develop and maintain integrated schedules, milestones, and product readiness plans.
Coordinate qualification testing, issue resolution, and verification activities.
Lead production readiness efforts and ensure completion of all activities required to support DD250 acceptance.
Track risks, issues, dependencies, and action items while driving timely resolution.
Prepare executive-level status reports, customer briefings, and program metrics.
Coordinate hardware availability, engineering changes, software releases, and manufacturing readiness.
Support design reviews, qualification reviews, production readiness reviews, and customer milestone events.
Interface directly with customers, suppliers, and internal leadership regarding product execution and delivery status.
Foster collaboration across all functional organizations to ensure successful product delivery.
