About the Role

The Manufacturing Technician supports day‑to‑day production by operating and maintaining manufacturing equipment, assembling mechanical and electromechanical hardware, and ensuring accurate production documentation. This role follows established work instructions, safety procedures, and quality standards while collaborating with engineers and supervisors to support continuous improvement. The Manufacturing Technician works in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment, assists with testing and quality activities, and plays a key role in maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient production floor.

Qualifications:

Required:
  • High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or technical certification preferred.
  • Experience working in manufacturing, production, or technical environments.
  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude with basic troubleshooting skills and the ability to use hand and power tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and engineering drawings.
  • Capable of accurately following verbal and written instructions.
  • Basic computer skills for production systems, data entry, and documentation.
  • Strong attention to detail with effective problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of or experience with FOD prevention, ESD control, material handling practices, and use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Preferred:
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as assembly, machining, or electronics production.
  • Familiarity with quality control systems and workplace safety regulations.
  • Technical certification or associate degree in manufacturing, engineering technology, or a related field.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions, including bending, twisting, and reaching.
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with noise, moving equipment, and machinery.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment and production lines.
  • Perform equipment setup, calibration, and adjustments as required.
  • Conduct routine equipment maintenance and cleaning.
  • Record and maintain production data, logs, reports, and accurate documentation.
  • Collaborate with engineers and supervisors to support continuous improvement of production processes.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Assist with testing and quality control activities.
  • Follow all safety procedures, work instructions, and company manufacturing policies.
  • Operate in compliance with AS9100 and ISO9001 quality standards.
  • Assemble and install mechanical, electromechanical, and wiring harnesses in a fast-paced environment.
  • May require shift work, overtime, or weekend work.
  • Perform effectively in a manufacturing, production or laboratory environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
